Before I Begin Paragraph

Some clear goals I want to reach in this methodology section is to clearly explain why I chose an auto-ethnography and how I will be collecting data since it is an auto-ethnography. The purpose of this section is to explain to the reader how I conducted my research, problems faced in the research, and who my subjects will be for this research project. It will be different from other sections because it will be details in one specific area, how research was conducted. I hope to thoroughly explain to my reader about my research, through an auto-ethnographic perception. I want as many details as possible to clear up any confusion the reader might have. My target audience is going to be for dermatological professionals who have an interest in hyperhidrosis. There is not a good market for patient ethnographies for hyperhidrosis and I hope to reach these professionals with this research.

Here is my uploaded Methodology section that has been tacked onto my original paper along with an updated reference list. —>Sweaty Anxiety

After I Wrote Paragraph

I have reached my goals of providing detailed descriptions of how I was going to conduct my research and have thoroughly explained it to the reader. I explained which auto-ethnography I chose and even gave a cited reference to show my validity. I did not mention problems I faced or was going to face, because I realized I would need to put that in the conclusion or discussion section of my paper and not my methodology. I explained how I would organize my information and it would be in the form of a timeline along with scores from one to ten. My target audience was reached because the information I gave in the methodology section was easy to read, understand, and also gave reason for why I was conducting my research the way I was. I wanted to reach professionals who dealt with hyperhidrosis on a different level and I did this through my methodology.
