Before I Begin Paragraph
The purpose of this introduction will be to help the reader get a clear understanding of what the paper will consist of and also give detailed background information that is helpful to understand why this topic is being research. This section will differ from other sections mainly because it will be an overview of the entire project with minor details. My goal for this paper is to draw the reader in and keep the reader interested in my topic, and also to feel what it is like for a person to live with the condition of Hyperhidrosis. My target audience is clearly anyone who is in the medical field, but another audience I am trying to reach out to is anyone who grew up with a condition similar to Hyperhidrosis. What is so unique to this condition is that it is one that cannot be hidden. I want to try and give those people in both audiences, an understanding of Hyperhidrosis. The use of my words will be a great help in accomplishing my target audiences. Medical terms along with experiences will help me grab my audiences’ attention. It is a good idea to know where I might publish, so I can tailor my paper and format to those who have published with that journal. Being able to use a journal article as a template will help me in this writing process tremendously.

After I Wrote Paragraph
The purpose of the introduction was to give general background information about the topic, Hyperhidrosis, and give general background about how I can relate to the topic. I did succeed in doing this through organization of my paragraphs. Starting with what Hyperhidrosis is, and then giving a background paragraph as to how I developed Hyperhidrosis. It did differ from other sections I will be writing because it was intended to hook the reader, and toy with their emotions to get them to continue reading the rest of the paper. The other parts of the paper will include very specific information that was not included in the introduction. My goal for hooking the reader, I believe was accomplished because I used personal experiences to give some emotion to my introduction and interesting facts about Hyperhidrosis to keep the audience reading. My target audience I believed was reached, but probably not as well as I wanted it to. This is something I would like to work on and using more established data to help carry it along. I did write in the format of other journals I had researched about publishing in, but all are different; this introduction was a combination of them and my own style. I accomplished a lot in this introduction and it has made me more excited to continue writing my paper.
